Join Lowcountry Produce on Sunday, November 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., for Brunch & Mimosas and meet author Michael A. Almond, a retired attorney who was raised in the small town of Pilot Mountain. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. An avid reader and student of Southern history and literature, he currently lives on a farm with his wife, Helen Ruth, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The Tannery is his debut novel.

Local singer-songwriter, Taylor Kent, performs at Lowcountry Produce on Sunday, March 16.Born in the mountains of Virginia, Taylor developed a love for music when she was very young. Her family's move to the Lowcountry allowed her performance career to take off, and she has been gigging regularly around the island and beyond since the age of 13.
