There’s a lot more to Harbour Town golf here in the neighborhood of The Shops at Sea Pines Center than just the Harbour Town Golf Links.

In every city there was a marketplace – or plaza – where the things that people knew converged to become common knowledge, the collective point of view.

Sited in the middle of Sea Pines’ Miracle Mile, The Shops at Sea Pines Center became from the beginning a forum to share knowledge about enjoying life here.

There is a much wider, underlying spirit that we share here on Hilton Head Island, and in Sea Pines particularly. It’s what makes us citizens and not just residents.

Stories are what bind us together, and together is how we achieve. Gathering together, then, might be the turning point for making human life as we know it.

After a particularly gratifying season of holidays among The Shops at Sea Pines Center, we are left with some thoughts to share.

The genius behind the Sea Pines Resort touched us here at Sea Pines Center, not only in where The Center was placed, but also in how it was composed.

The Shops at Sea Pines Center is certainly no corner store. Or if it is, then it’s at the corner of Art & Commerce, where dreams get practical.

When Charles Fraser laid out the plans that became the first resort community on the island, the Sea Pines golf courses were integral parts of the dream.
